Recent episodes of Truth of the Spirit have described the Manifestation Gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Before we present the “Power Gifts” we wanted to share the footage of Alan Ames of Australia during his visit to Arkansas before the pandemic.  Mr. Ames has an active ministry of the Gift of Healing and is well known for his gift of Prophecy.  The Lord has been appearing to Alan Ames since February 1994.  Two years later, in February 1996, the Lord Jesus began sharing episodes of his life on earth.  Alan Ames has shared them in his book entitled “Through the Eyes of Jesus”.  These are personal revelations in a character similar to the journal of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich.  They encourage our relationship with the Lord.  As with all personal revelation we encourage your discernment.

Welcome to Truth of the Spirit.  We offer you today the visit of Alan Ames to Rogers, Arkansas, to the Church of St. Vincent de Paul.  The sound was recorded at a distance.  Towards the end of Alan’s talk, Linda Williams gives instructions for the parishioners who then came up to the altar for personal prayer during the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Alan made a few more comments and then began to pray for all present.  We are trimming part of these prayers during music because of copyrights and we also trim the conclusion of the rosary but many people received the benefit of the Lord’s Presence through the Charism of Healing.  We end this service with a blessing by Jesus in the Monstrance by Pastor Monsignor David LeSieur.   This is 206 Alan Ames Healing Service in Arkansas.

Alan Ames told us “Please understand that healing begins in the Holy Mass.  The Holy Eucharist is the greatest healing of all.”  He said, “The healing continues through the talk because often people say as I spoke, by the grace of God, they were healed.”  We were very blessed to have six priests to be hearing confessions during his talk.  Alan Ames told us, “After the Eucharist, Confession is the next most powerful healing prayer, healing sacrament.  If you want the best healing possible; you’ll have a good confession.  So the healing tonight is sacramental:  it’s in the Eucharist, it’s with the Blessed Sacrament exposed, and it’s in the Sacrament of Confession.

[30 minute talk by Alan Ames]

Linda Williams, ACCC Director, speaking:  We would like to take a moment to explain what will be happening.  There are two ways Alan prays over people.   First, he prays over all together as they are in the pews.  As, then, people are asked to come forward and he will lay hands on them.   When you come forward, you will be coming around three sides of the altar.  Leave a space wide enough for Alan to walk through so he can pray for everybody.  You are to stand in your place with your eyes closed.  If you want prayer for other people, think of them when you come forward, and you can have photos, you can hold them out and Alan will pray over them.  His prayers are enough for you and for all those you carry in your heart or your photos.  When Alan lays hands on people, it is only for a couple of seconds.  Some people want more than this, but remember God is not limited by time and can do anything in one second.    Also with the holy Mass, the talk and the rosary, that we are going to be taking part in, you would have already had made two hours of healing prayer.   Alan said his prayer is only a small part of the healing and complements the powerful sacrament of healing.  During the prayers please focus on Jesus in your mind and try to be relaxed.  When he is praying over people please join in the hymns that will be sung or the rosary prayers being said as your prayers are as important as Alan’s and he said the healings are always stronger when others pray as well.  Sometimes when Alan prays over people they fall down.  If you have not seen this before, do not be frightened; it is the Holy Spirit in action.  But falling down is not important.  What is important is that you allow God’s will to happen.  Do not be afraid.  We will have some men standing behind each person for three or four seconds to catch you if the Holy Spirit touches someone to fall down.

If you are healed today or within the next few days or week please write and let Alan know.  These letters will be forwarded to Alan’s Archbishop to keep a record on the healings.  It is important that you do this.  So, you can also write to Alan at AlanAmes.org and all these letters will be sent on.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament by Msgr. David LeSieur with song, “Down in Adoration Falling.”

The Healing Service continued with Alan Ames speaking again for 10 minutes including a healing prayer for everyone. The Healing Service continued with Alan Ames praying individually for people gathered around the altar.  During these prayers the Rosary with meditations on the Luminous Mysteries and various hymns by the choir took place.  The prayers lasted about 45 minutes.

After everyone received prayer, Benediction was presented by Msgr. David LeSieur with a blessing of the people by Jesus within the monstrance with the closing hymn, Holy God We Praise Your Name.
