TOS287 Day 17 Daily Meditations for Lent with Patti Brunner – Friday 2nd Week of Lent

Day 17. Truth of the Spirit with Patti Brunner presents Daily Meditations for Lent.  We include personal revelation for your discernment to grow in your relationship with the Lord during this liturgical season of Lent. Video and audio will be added as available.

Welcome to Truth of the Spirit.  I am your host Patti Brunner.  This is day 17 of our series “Daily Meditations for Lent” and this is Friday of the secondweek of Lent. We have gathered words from the Lord shared during various Lenten seasons and will share these personal revelations and meditations for you to discern and contemplate each day during Lent.

After spending some time on the Friday of the 2nd week of Lent studying about us developing the mind of Jesus the Lord said this to me, “As your mind is renewed and opened to Me, more and more will My Truth be made clear to you.  My Spirit is upon you, teaching you in wisdom and in faith so you may go into the world and teach my people.  They thirst for knowledge of me but until their minds are renewed and the world is cast out they cannot know Me.  This will change in time.  My love conquers all.  Those that cooperate with My Spirit will come to understand the meaning of life and death and will come to know the Father’s Glory as they join in communion with the ancients in giving praise to the Father.  Grow, my child, allow my Spirit to teach you the Way of the Lord.  Renew your heart each day to my will for you.  Renew your love for Me.  Renew those who you meet and greet.  Renew your family.  Renew your church, your world.  It is not that this is your burden, it is Mine.  But as you yoke yourself to Me, we will go forth into the world to teach, to love, to heal, and to be one in the Father through the Spirit in the true Body of Christ.”

A different Friday of the 2nd week of Lent I heard the Lord say this, “Each day you draw nearer to thy God—nearer to the perfect Will of the Father- nearer to the joy of perfect obedience.  Hide yourself in the Heart of Jesus.  It is there that you will enter the Kingdom by the Gate, and you will be placed at the right hind of the Father.  Abide in Christ, my Child and the realms of glory will be available unto you, for it is in the realm of Glory you shall see the Face of God and live.  My child, abandon your life unto me.  Dwell in the love, peace and unity that dwell in Christ Jesus.  The more you give the more you will receive.  Empty yourself unto the Lord—be aware that the nature of man tries to fill a vacuum—you must continually be filled with the presence of Goodness and Light as you sit before the throne in readiness to be called into the Chamber.”  Then the Lord seemed to be making a reference to the parable about the 10 Virgins found in Gospel of Matthew25:1-13, as He said, “Should you turn away to be filled—you cannot enter; the Bridegroom will not recognize those filled with the world but only the pure of heart—the “virgin” that is filled by the grace of the Spirit and by the preparation of the Father’s servants.  These servants have entered the chamber and now they please the Father by getting others ready.  Someday, you, too, may receive this calling of service.  Some are sent back into the world under the cloak (of humility) to minister unto the Lord by serving the people—bringing them out of darkness.  Happy are they to serve the Lord! But remember—it is not in serving the world that brings the Father glory, even though it is consoling—it is following the will of the Father that brings everlasting joy and peace.  Peace and happiness—eternal joy.

Another Friday of the 2nd week of Lent the Lord shared this, “My child, as the desert seeks to claim the land of the living , to encroach, to sap its water, know this:  I Am the life come down to earth to replenish, to restore, to bring revival.  Whenever you hear the sounding of the trumpet you know that action is to be taken:  call to battle, call to prayer, or call to assembly.  This I tell you truly, the days shall not be complete until the Son of Man appears upon the horizon to gather the people of God into the waiting arms of the Father.  Fear not!  Such a day shall be for the Glory of God and will be a day of rejoicing for those who love the Lord and call on his name.  Those who turn away will not be herded forcefully but will be allowed to follow their choice into darkness.

“Dear daughter, this day was made by the Lord.  As you continue to pray and speak, know this:  I love you.  I shall continue to love you whether or not you continue to serve me by serving the people.  As you complete the tasks I have given you I shall awaken in your heart the anointing you have received through the Lamb and the power of the Holy Spirit.  Many shall be set free from inequity and infirmity as you set your heart on their needs and lift them to Me, to heaven.”  The Lord then repeated his name, “I Am.  I Am.  I Am.  Remember this in the days to follow.  Rejoice in this knowledge.  I love you.”    In the book of Exodus 3:14-15 it is written, “13 Then Moses said to God, “If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ what shall I say to them?”  14 God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.'”‘ RSV

This Lent the Lord has more to tell us about having the mind of Jesus.  This is Day 17. We invite you to subscribe or follow and come back tomorrow for our Daily Meditations for Lent – Lenten Logos with Patti Brunner.  Remember: “The event of the Cross and Resurrection abides and draws everything toward life.”[i]  “Prepare for it, ready your heart.”  The transcript of this episode is available at PatriarchMinistries.com/287.  Come back tomorrow for more.  With the Holy Spirit there’s always more.  Amen
