As you enter the fullness of the Easter season during the weeks of spring, new life will awaken the hearts with a fullness of hope brought forth in the liturgy of the word that reveals the kingdom come. Luke 24:13-35   Walk to Emmaus; “beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he interpreted to them what referred to him in all the Scriptures.”
As he walks to Emmaus, Jesus reveals the Son of God was sent by the Father, the plan was in place at the beginning.  This is important to help the people understand that Christ came to redeem the people of all time.

John 10:1-10 “Jesus said again, “Amen, amen, I say to you, I am the gate for the sheep”  “Whoever enters through me will be saved,” a thief come to steal, slaughter and destroy; More Abundant life
He is the sheep gate.
The “spoiler” tries to distract and has taken many from the path.
John’s writings get to the heart of the task—the “work” of Jesus.  Jesus came to overpower the “strong man” to set the captives free.

Acts 6:1-7  Greek deacons/priests ordained
1 Peter 2:4-9  living stone

Jesus was the “prototype” of how you each should act.  He is the Way.
When Jesus was accused of dividing the people against themselves you see the importance of unity.
I draw you to be one with Me, as the Father and the Son are one.[John 10:30]
[Mt. 9:34-36 by “prince of demons”; John 10:19, 30, 39;  John 7:12, 32, 43]
