Program Outline of Season of the Spirit-Pentecost:
The Season of Easter tells the purpose for the coming of Christ to the earth
Unless Jesus leaves and sits at the Father’s right hand the Spirit could not be sent
Gifts manifested in Jesus prove the Holy Spirit in “man”
Our greatest inheritance is the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit himself reveals our inheritance
“Hints” promised in Isaiah; witnessed by Jesus’ life; explodes in the early church after Pentecost
Affected today by Easter, the Ascension & the fulfillment of the promise of the Holy Spirit
“Charismatic” an intricate core of the Catholic Church.
Why refusal of gifts? Pray to surrender.
Prayer “Come Holy Spirit enkindle…”
It is by the Holy Spirit that we truly come to know God.
